Just ran across this again, so decided to post it. Again.
Seemingly, no one ever checks the archives much, except me. Good plan
for a kid, or a good gift for a kid. Hell, I might even make one for
myself, then put my life savings in it (all in pennies), and bury it in
the front yard.

Any plan is bad which is incapable of modification.

Well, if you keep on posting them, then newbies like me won't be posting
duplicates or triplicates or worse that you are all sick of seeing. And,
beside, you are doing good job, don't be bashful, keep up the good work!

That's pretty cute... I think I'll make a dedicated "scrap stick" box
and eventually build several "kits" out of scrap..
This would be a great thing to donate (in kit form) to local rec
centers, day care, senior centers, etc.. |

Hehehe Every once in awhile somebody bitches about some of the
plans I post. Then, usually, someone comes along and says that's
exactly what they wanted/needed/dreamed of/the voices in their head told
them about.
Check the archives, just an advanced google, really. Loads of good
stuff in there, from all sorts of peoples.
http://groups.google.com/advanced_group_search?as_ugroup=rec.woodworking&lr=&num=30
And, finally. I don't go looking for stuff to post. A LOT of
people think that. I do a lot of searches, I mean a whole lot, for
projects of my own. And, I run across stuff, and sometimes post some.
A suprising huge amount result from searches not even remotely related
to woodworking. So, I usually only post stuff I've never seen here
before, around 10% of what I find, and every once in awhile, I repost
something I run across again.
When ou see more than 3-4 posts in one lump, from me, on the same
day, you can be pretty sure I'm on a serious search. Some of it's
good, some of it's bad, some indifferent.
