I'd have to say that's a standard 10" XACTA Saw Left Tilt, same as mine but
different color, and missing the motor door. You can see the motor barely
poking out the left side, with the power cord coming off it.

Not sure why they couldn't blow it down with an air hose before shooting it,
or tightening up the magnetic switch, which is hanging oddly. For reasons
unknown, someone has added feet to the left side of the melamine table, but
without a view of the right side, hard to tell why.

New this is a $1500 saw, assuming that's a 3 hp motor, and a 50" fence.

Actuall it looks like a right tilting blade. The newer Jets come in white
(like mine), but the blue was there color for quite some time I believe. No
expert on that part! If you can pick it up for four to six hundred you would
be perfectly happy with it I am sure. Only make sure that everything is in
good condition below the table because thats where it really matters!
Good Luck!,

This is the smaller cabinet saw that Jet sells. Now known as the JWCS-10A
Cabinet Saw. It is missing its motor cover on the left side and is a "Right
Tilt" contrary to most standard sized cabinet saws. These normally come
with a 110 volt 1.75 hp TEFC motor. If you notice also the base of the
cabinet is quite a bit smaller than those of the standard sized Jet cabinet
saws. It indeed does have an Exacta fence but this saw is more of a
contractors saw than a true cabinet saw. The guts are much lighter weight
than those of standard sized cabinet saws. The left mounted dust port is
visible on the left lower side of the saw near the power cord.

You see the dust port coming out the left side and this is a right tilt saw.
This is not a full sized JTAS cabinet saw.

IIRC these "Blue" models were about $600-$800 new. Again this is the small
cabinet saw that Jet sells and comes with a 1.75 hp 110 volt motor.

I'm so expert, but the motor is on the left, and tilt wheel on the
right, therefore I strongly believe its a left tilter. I did not
realize they made left-tilters before they switched the color.

This is not the standard sized cabinet saw. It is a right tilt with the
bevel wheel on the right side. Look more closely at the direction that the
bevel gauge goes.

I see it now, you can also tell from the insert symmetry.

Thanks for the inputs. In April I'll be able to take a closer
look at it and see what kind of shape its in.

Be aware that it may not have a 1 1/2 hp motor.... I purchased my Jet
in the late 80's (a JCS-10) which I believe is almost the identical
saw..but the "stock" configuration was with a 2 HP motor and they had
an option to go to 3 Hp....and at that time Jet also offered a Bies
Fence...not a clone as another option....

Anyway in Jan of 89 I bought the saw with a 3 Hp motor, Biesmeyer
fence and the optional motor cover for $950 including all shipping
charges...

My saw is listed as a Cabinet Saw...but it is really not...however in
the 15 years I have owned it it has taken all I could run thru it.
not a single problem...ever !
