Went by local HD today. No sale on K Bodies.
Checked w/someone who thought they were on sale, but his department head
says no. They are "no reorder" but not currently on closeout. Checked
another store to be sure and was told same thing.
If you gott'um on sale it must be an individual store thing... |

I looked at our local store last night, and no close out, but there was a hand
written letter on the tag, so I suspect something will happen, plus the section
is in need of a reset.
I asked about the $99.00 miter saw sand that other groups talked about, but
they didn't have them that I could find, and the sales person didn't seem to
know much more. Surprize Surprize! |

My HD has no more Bessey's, store clerk understood they were being
discontinued.

It has been a while since I sold to HD, but they used to have 6 geographic
divisions. The divisions might carry different lines; presumably they also
ran different closeouts.
But, they also used to change their fundamental strategy once or twice a
year, so it could have changed a few times by now. |

I went in to pick up sanding disks last week, and found a stack of the
miter saw stands there. When it came up with the sale price on the
computer, I took one home with me. Should come in handy when I do the
couple of kitchen cabinet projects that are lining up....
